Works perfectly! Plug and play
Plug and play! Works perfectly in my Dell R710.
Some notes on getting it to work:
-I needed a cable that my server didn't come with. The cable I found originally in my server had some sort of card edge connector, whereas the cable you need has the same connector as on the drive backplane. The cable I got to get it working was listed as "H700 SAS-A SAS-B SATA Cable for Dell POWEREDGE"
-You cannot plug this into the storage PCI slot! Plug it into a regular PCI 8X slot.Read full review

Works great, but not new.
It worked great right out of the box. However, it is most definitely a used product. Not new. There are scratches and dust all over the product, but I expected as much since the picture is taken of the product outside of the box. Read full review

Exactly what you'd expect. Fast, convenient, and easy to configure.
No complaints. I upgraded it to the newest firmware from Avago and run a 6-drive RAID 0 array with 128 GB SSDs. Pegs 2.1 GB/s with ease. :)

Works out of the box.
Works out of the box. I have it running in a Dell 710 on a Proxmox single bootable disk and rest of the disks and SSD cache in ZFS pool. You do have to modify the controller to select a bootable disk if booting off the controller. Card does not run hot inside this server. I am assuming because unlike white box built servers this server is designed with high efficient air flow across the entire server front to rear.Read full review

Works great
Works great. Used the instructions to flash into IT mode on forums[dot]servethehome[dot]com/index.php?threads/dell-h200-flash-to-it-firmware-procedure-for-dell-servers.467/ , so I can run JBOD. Also found out and verified it works in several other R and T servers.Read full review
PERC H200 for HBA
Great card for FreeNAS. Had some problems with BIOS flashing, it was very picky on the motherboards, so I tried different ones and finally got it working on my very old Dell mobo. Runs good in Dell R510 storage slot without any problem.Read full review

Modification needed for r710 internal memory slot
Slightly more modification is needed if you are to use this in the internal memory slot on a Dell r710. It's doable if you are tech savvy and have a Linux distribution, 2 hours, and the correct downloads. There is a very good walkthrough for doing this on Reddit.Read full review

Reflash could be better, but the hardware works
The reflashed PERC H200 works well enough for storage, but the way it was flashed was suboptimal: the BIOS boot time message still mentioned Dell, and UEFI booting off the card did not work. However, that was easily fixable with another reflash.
For anyone else looking to enable UEFI boot, search Reddit for "[Tutorial] Flash an H200 to IT mode w/ uefi & bios boot functionality".Read full review

Good value for money.
No cons really. Got the card. Plugged it in. Connected three 4TB SATA drives and had RAID configured in less then 2 minutes. Windows 10 Home picked it up right off-the-bat and the device was fully operational. No struggle, mess or fuss. Plug-'n-Play. Read full review

Cross flash it to the latest LSI firmware and its great
I cross flash these to the 2015 P20 LSI firmwares and use them in IT mode, works great when you just want a linux compatible SAS HBA.
