DigiTech GSP1101 Multi-Effects Guitar Effect Pedal

Best sounding preamp/Processor for the $

I've had and played threw alot of gtr processor and pre amps. I know all the hype these days is all about the Kemper profiler amp and the Fractal Audio Axe-fx 11 preamp which are great and sound amazing! But not everyone has that kind of $$$. The Digitech gsp1101 may seem somewhat obsolete to some but it is still a great sounding unit especially for the price! And it is easy to use and configure to any setup. Weather your running it in front of your amp, effects loop, using the gsp1101 preamp threw your amps EFX Rtrn or a P.A. I've always liked digitech and have had many of their smaller gtr processors mainly for practicing so I'm familiar with there layout. Even if you've never used a digitech it is still very easy to use and navigate threw to get great tones very quickly. I absolutely love it and in my opinion it is def one of the best units out there! And the Control 2 foot controler , which is a must have with this unit, is very simple to hook up. You just connect it to the GSP1101 with the ethernet cable and your ready to go! No midi programming is needed. It does have midi capabilities as well if you decide to go that route. Brilliant bit of kit ,but if you buy from usa like I did you need to get the transformer changed to uk , it's different voltage. Or use a step down converter. Getting it changed is much better . I did!.Read full review

Digitech GSP1101 - Best bang for the buck!!!

As a regularly gigging rock cover band guitarist, i bought one of these back in 2010 to replace my aging rack guitar processor.

It has taken the punishment of hundreds of shows without fail. (Always racked).

I bought this one as a backup or spare.

They are easy to set up, intuitive to program.
Allows me to send consistent, repeatable tones, egfects and levels out to front of house. I/O is a dream for live or studio.

Not only is the gap great for live, it's my go to box for home, and studio recording.
Pristine sound, with no stomp box like noise.

This box produces all the tones, and effects anyone would ever need to play just about anything.

The control 2 foot pedal is a must for control of the system.
