Simple but Effective
It's basically just an extra long drain snake but it does have a couple of nice features. The handle and knob on the drum work well on rotating the snake and the drum itself is a good idea to store the snake when not in use. It saves trying to bend a whippy length of metal back into its band or box - a process I'm more acquainted with than I'd like. (I should note that in the picture it looks like the knob will wind the snake back into the drum - but it doesn't; you just push the snake back in).
I got mine because there was a blockage in the pipe draining the sink that was too far along for a standard snake to reach and this one worked a treat. That was a nice straight pipe though, I'd be wary about using it round a U-bend. Nothing specifically against this product; just that more length means more chance for you to get it stuck somewhere (there's no reason why you have to use more length than you actually need, but I bet I would).Read full review

Completely useless
One of the most useless tools it has my displeasure to purchase. it is simply a wire wrapped up in fancy clothes. The wind mechanism goes out once but is then impossible to rewind. The wire end is to wide to go through any sink trap and so you have to dismantle the ubend etc. If you try it from the outflow end it catches in the sink trap and has to be unwound with pliers.
Not believing it could be so bad I undid the casing and found that the wire is not and could not be attached. this renders it a complete dud.
I have trusted Draper tools in the past but if this is an example of the range now available, never again.

Didn't work for bathroom sink
I purchased to try and increase drainage, in small print of add, sinks were mentioned, as in image for device, unfortunately too wide to follow path of pipes, so not able to do job purchased for.
Also when trying to uncoil all 7.6m uncoiled quite fast, and came apart from hand unit, ending in cracking a bathroom floor tile. I then had to had to take apart hand unit to recoil all back in. Will not use again.Read full review

blockage no more
The tip a bit to big to get past the sink plug hole grill so i had to cut mine off ,a bit sad but it still did the job a very good value tool,well pleased.

Drain snake
Tried everything yo unblock sink but nothing worked i used this long drain snake in my sink waste as it has a long hidden pipe to clear. Took 30 mins feeding in slowly but it worked great

Can be fiddly but will do the job with a little thought.
Turn the handle and it turns the wire but if you pull to much wire out and the end gets snagged in the blockage the wire just goes into a knot so don’t over turn the handle keep pulling and pushing the wire while turning the handle.Read full review
