When replacing this unit after removing the old one you may find that the device on the app still displays the old battery low alerts. I decided to take the device off base and left it overnight. The alerts for the low battery cleared and the once connected to the base the off base alert cleared. I believe this is a useful way to use the smoke alarm device, only provided that the device was new at the time. Had to be replaced but great now.

My electrician had difficulty programming the two fire alarms after fitting the RF radio module. He called the manufacturer who could not help him to get them working. I contacted the vendor who replaced without question and after replacing with these new ones programmed myself. Seemed easy to me even though I am way above pension age and did not really want to be on the ladder above the stairs.

Gets mains powered alarms talking to wireless alarms

I have two wired fireangel alarms and a few wireless ones, inserted this into one of the wired alarms to get them interconnected with the wireless alarms, worked nice and easy, just read the instructions. Price on here reasonable, £30+ elsewhere which seems awfully expensive when compared to the price of the alarms. Read full review
