I've been using this product for years, adding it to my old used oil in my Car, & then taking
my Car out for a good run, to mix said ingredient well, through the oil pump, & then changing
my oil over, to new cleaner oil, & said product keeps the parts, (oil pump) nice & clean of
deposits & dirt, in other words, it does what it says on the lable, end of. Would I recommend

Silenced hydraulic tappets!

Had a maverick hydraulic tappet or two. I replaced the rocker cover gasket, cleaned the camshaft area manually, then a flush and the "clear" oil came out brackish! New filter, oil and engine is running sweet!
I now need to check again in a few weeks to see if all's well.

People worry about muck that's happy sitting in corners being disturbed.

I have used this a couple of times and does seem to keep the engine a lot cleaner. I run a 3.9 V8 which has small oil ways, so this helps preventing sludge build up.

This works

Had a blocked oil feed pipe causing turbo to fail so bought new pipe, turbo and sump pick up to comply with turbo warranty conditions also they stipulated flushing with this stuff prior to fitting. So put it all back together and flushed it using forte. Stripped it down again and found the feed pipe spotless and the gause filter on its end clean with no blockage. This seems to be a superior product

I have used various engine flush compounds in the past. I used this product(Forte) for the first time on a Rover V8 which is notorious for depositing sludge in the sump and was leaking oil. The replacement oil has stayed surprisingly clean and, more surprisingly the leaks appear to have been cured. Whilst this product is more expensive than other engine flushes my limited experience would suggest that it is worth the extra cost and I would recommend it....at least give it a try!Read full review
