Not well thought out

This machine works well at dehumidifying, however it blows hot air into the room which would be good in winter or in a room that does not need to be kept cool.
They need to make an adapter or redesign the unit so you can direct the hot air outside.Read full review

Works as advertised!

I live in Florida on a Barrier Reef Island (surrounded by water so high humidity). Had a problem with mildew on north wall under window of master bedroom. Removed the mildew and bought this unit to help reduce humidity in the bed room. I ran it from 11 am to 5 pm on humid days and collect 3/4 to 7/8 of the capacity of the condensate container.

Almost a good deal

I really thought that this would be a great product. I bought it back in February 2019 and it did a great job of removing the humidity from my house..... Right up until October when the unit started freezing solid.

Stopped working after 3 months

This was a good dehumidifier for 3 months. It was quiet, and removed humidity effectively based on the water it collected. However, after 3 months it stopped working. I would find the unit stopped with the error code "EC" displayed. I could unplug it, and plug it back in and it would work for a few hours, but then the same thing happened. "EC" is supposed to mean that the temperature in the room is out of range. But the room temperature was actually fine. I tried plugging in to 3 different outlets and all had the same problem. Basement still musty

I had this same unit for five years and it worked fine but this one doesn't seem as effective. It blows hot air and basement still has that damp musty smell even when I have a hose attached to it.
