An Excellent Bond Film

This is by far one of the best James Bond movies !
Goldeneye had all of the elements that made the original Bonds such compelling movies, and than a million times more action. Next to Connery, Pierce Brosnan is the best actor to have stepped into this role, and in my opinion he may even be better than Connery's Bond.Read full review...

GOLDENEYE

This completed our set of Brosnan Bonds; it's the first, so we get to find out what M thinks of Bond and vice versa. Of the four, it's probably the weakest (Sean Bean as 006 gone to the bad doesn't quite cut it as a Bond villain), there's a cheesy driving fast cars around windy mountain roads bit that look copied out of earlier Bond movies but there are still some great moments (the 'car' chase in St Petersburg for example).
That said, Brosnan is the coolest and wittiest Bond, so 'Goldeneye' is definitely worth a look!!!

Goldeneye

Best of the Pierce Brosnan era of Bond movies.
Brosnan was a highly popular choice for the role and made a very good job of it, and in my opinion was on a par with Connery, unlike previous and the most recent "Bonds".Read full review...

James Bond, Goldeneye

I bought this DVD for nostalgia sake.
I have recently cancelled my SKY movies subscrition.
I'm now buying the odd DVD to add to my collection.

This range of DVDs have been digitally enhanced.
The picture looks quite good even on my 80" projected screen.
The stunts with the tank are properly gungho.

If you're a Bond fan you are going to enjoy this DVD.
You must in fact have seen this film already.
At todays ebay prices a bargain.

Another actor takes on the mantle of Bond. Pierce Brosnan should do well.

Pierce Brosnan takes over the mantle of Bond quite easily His acting brings a freshness to the genre. Will enjoy watching this film.
