Good printer for the money, works well with Windows, less reliably from Android phone

It's a nice little printer and it works well on my network from my Windows machines.
There was also an offer for HP Instant print, with the first four months free.
Using the printer from my Android phone is not as reliable - sometimes it works fine, but other times it fails to detect the printer and won't print. I don't know what is causing this problem, but it's annoying.Read full review

Printer is good value for money. It is difficult to set up with windows 10. Intially it did not print in color from windows 10 pc. I had to uninstall the printer then had to follow hp thread to fix the problem which seems to quite common problem with this printer line.
On positive note printer's compatibilty with instant ink is a huge plus. If you sign up for instant ink plan then you would not have deal with dry cartridges or worry about running out of ink and in long run it would save money. My first instant ink cartridges arrived before ink ran out so on that front hp has done good work with these printers and instant ink.
Hp needs to sort out this printers not printing in colour in windows 10 setup so the customers don't get frustrated as majority of people are not computer nerds and they would want technology to work without any glitches. Overall I am satisfied with this product and I would recommend it freely. Instant ink a huge plus.Read full review

Also it works like a fax machine
You send set up an e mail network and e mail a document from anywhere as long have you have a connection.it will print it and confirm.

Hp Envy 4527 Paper loads from bottom so it's a space saver.

This printer was so easy to set up.Downloaded setup drivers from internet .Ten minutes later I was printing!

Good Product

I bought this item to replace an HP Envy 4524 which I have had for a few years. The scanning was perfect, but I was having trouble with the printing it kept on throwing out the 6X4 photo papers which was very frustrating! I had several new ink cartridges which as you know are quite expensive, So the answer was to find a printer such as the HP Envy 4527 which uses the same inks. HP Envy printer, large and imposing.

Works well, the scanner goes up to a 1200 dpi resolution which is all you would probably ever need. The HP print cartridges are a little expensive but this was purchased mainly as a scanner anyway.
