I got fed up buying bags to store my duvets and pillows only to find they had let air in by the time I went to use them again so I decided to try these. They are thicker plastic and have done the job except one which I think I caught on a splinter of wood. These bags are good quality. I just wish the manufacturers would find an easier way of closing the bags. When you have athritic fingers the closure is very fiddly and fustrating.

Much better that the alternatives

I used to be an avid user of the original Spacesaver bags but decided to try these and they are a world apart. Much much stronger and much better made then Spacesaver. My only criticism is that Spacesaver bags offer a wider range of sizes and their jumbo bag is a better size.Read full review

Disappointed

I bought these bags after having problems with far cheaper versions.True they are a heavier gauge than cheaper versions but 2 of the five did not seal correctly and within a day had lost all the vacuum and had reinflated.I tried resealing them but the same thing happened.Don't know wjether its the closure or the inlet valve.Read full review

Vac bags

These are good and tough bags and do hold the vacuum unlike the cheaper ones. Just run the sealer clip across several times and then 'feel' across the seal to make sure they have latched in, you can feel if they haven't.Read full review
