It was a smart move to buy the Hoover Smartwash.
I was amazed how easy this carpet cleaner was to use compared to other brands of cleaners I have owned and it is half the weight. It took all the guess work out of the job and left the carpets very dry. I cleaned the carpets early afternoon and was entertaining that evening. A very intelligent purchase
Money very well spent....I could not believe how transformed my carpet was. Every stain and bit of ground in dirt disappeared...Carpet looked much much cleaner and dried much much faster than when those steamer guys did it last....I'm going to get a second one as a gift to my daughter.....she has three cats..

Better than most professional cleaners!
I was reluctant to buy this machine used, but I had my eye on it for a while, and full price wasn't within my budget. It only took me n two hours to get my entire 1400 square foot apartment's wall to wall carpet looking much better than it did after its last professional cleaning! Awesome product!... Picked up a lot of dirt that the substandard steam cleaning company did a bad job of not getting and you should of course first vacuum clean your rugs/carpets taking your sweet time passing vac slowly back and forth your rug/carpet to get whatever you can with your vac alone and then use this great "Hoover SmartWash Automatic Carpet Cleaner / Washer" afterwards every pass, slowly to give it a good chance at really cleaning and picking up all dirtiness!... And then wah lah!... What a clean rug/carpet that you will have!... So I highly recommend this machine and I would buy this again for myself or as a gift for some lucky person!... Not for me.
It’s great if you’ve never had a steam cleaner before. And if you don’t want your carpets really clean. I used it on my living room carpet which I know needed cleaning. And I also had pet stains.. The water came out as clean as it went in. To me that was not cleaning that was
surface cleaning. I have a Bissell and that is deep down cleaning. Nothing will replace a Bissell.
