Hozelock std reel. Missing hose spring (useless without having it already).

The hozelock empty reel does its job as show. Easy fitment and instructions from website.
Only drawback I see is that the hose spring to prevent kinking at supply connection is not provided. Not sure if this is an issue of hozelock or the eBay supplier. It is useless without this spring. So only purchase this if one has the spring from a previous hose reel. Read full review

30 metre hose reel that doesn't hold a 30 metre hose.

Purchased a 30 metre hose and then the Hozelock 2410 reel to hold it. When the hose is fully wound on to the reel, it jams against the upper handle. Suspect that I need to cut off about 2 metres of hose to make it fit. Suggests that the 30 meters is a marginal value and the reel needs to have a greater capacity to accommodate the hose as advertised. Unless of course Hozelock have extended the 30 meter hose by some length.

The reel itself is plastic and seems a little flimsy. You need to put a foot on one of the lower legs in addition to holding the upper handle as you wind up the hose to make it stable as you use it.Read full review

Unfortunate choice.

The actual product is of robust construction. However the accompanying instructions on how to use the hose connection are in pictures only and very poor. I have been unable to decipher these so can only use the reel as a basic storage item. Very disappointed, and would not recommend.Read full review
