This Hozelock water timing clock it one of the best I've ever come across in 30 or so years of using a sprinkler watering system in my polytunnels or the flowerbeds , hanging basket & glasshouse at home.

Price wise it is not expensive compared to a couple that I had made for me .

What I like most about this clock is that I can turn on a simple twist to set programme that gives enough slots of watering without causing things to get too wet . ( In have a special heated misting bed for things that need a lot of fine misting )

One thing thoug only use genuine Hozelock sprayheads , pipe connectors and tubings there is a tremendous amount of nearly exact copies .
And as we found out to our cost and great annoyance you end up with things that are not quite a precision fit and this caused problems .., the main 15 mm hose pipe kept coming off under pressure because we used a non Hozelock connector . We used non Hozelock 1/2 " line connectors that lead to the take off lines they kept coming out .. especially when the tunnels & glasshouse got hot inside. We also got a cheap job lot of supposedly 1/4 " branch ,line tube.. we soon found out why it was cheap .. it was utter rubbish ... the hoses kept on coming off at either end .

So summing up ,, it's a great water time clock but you need to use genuine Hozelock accessories .. they might cost a few pounds more overall but the quality & reliability it there every time all th time .

Best watering timer

Dont reverse flow it

Basically a good product. My garden tap was difficult to access so I adapted the AC1 to put a male hos connector on the top (inlet) side, so it had male connectors for water in and out. Whilst trying it out I inadvertantly reverse connected it. The valve didn't like this malfunctioned and flooed the electrics. It took three days in the airing cupboard to dry it out, having first opened the battery compartment which had flooded. It's Ok now.Read full review

Time saving gardening watering product

Very good value for a tried and tested product. Delivered quick and simple. I bought 5 as I have 5 different watering systems so I was really holding thth would work well, and they do.
