Amazing Quality Sound and Comfortable

This isn't a paid or bias review so please contact me If you have questions, I have been involved in professional music for 6 years now and I know my good quality sounds from the rubbish. I recently bought a few sets of over-ear ranging from prices of 1 K pounds to a tenner. After some extensive research I chose these, to be honest I didn't think much of these and was more excited about the high range Sennheisers HD 800's. When I tested these however it came out with some surprising results including a above average pitch range and an open back effect. They also came with one hole cable, which I love, and fairly cheap but comfortable padding (replaceable/changeable). The expected disadvantages to these however are an average level bass, a lot of sound leakage and allow a bit of sound in during use. However for someone like me who works in a empty and quiet work place, they are brilliant for just casual use. If you by these with high range ear-cuffs, you could reduce leaking audio and using a pitch box would give you more base.Read full review

Good sound BUT could do with some soft wrap around for the part that touches your head

The sound is good but not great, they are light, to wear but they are not comfortable, they need either neoprene or foam cover, for the part that rests on your head. I had some neoprene stick on type, i used for the car, worked for me. So only 3 stars because of these faults, i cannot recommend these until they sort out these faults. Ok for the price

I use headphones when playing keyboard. I changed from wired phones to a wireless Panasonic set, and whilst it was great not having wires I was disappointed in the reduced bass they had, but got used to it. After many years the wireless set packed up. I was put off wireless by the high price, and was attracted to these advertised as 'extra bass'. Well it's true they do have good bass, but I now feel they lack in other ranges and the sound seems muffled. They are certainly lightweight and very comfortable, and very low priced, so I can't expect too much and will carry on using them. If I were looking for another pair of headphones today though, I would probably spend at least twice as much in the hope for a better result.Read full review

Fantastic value for money.

I have given these five stars, not because the sound is as good as Bose £250 headphones, only a fool would expect it to be. I have given them 5 stars because the sound is excellent for headphones that cost £12!!! and for the average listener these would be more than adequate.

The build quality is good, they are comfortable and also come with a 3.5m lead as a bonus.

I don't see how you can get much better than these for sub £15 headphones and would happily recommend them to those who do not want to spend more than £15, as they are superb value for the money.Read full review

I use headphones to watch movies on a computer, but I have hearing aids and need headphones that are over the ear. The RX300 still touches the hearing aids, but only just, and accurate placing is required. Other than that they are extremely good in use and value.Read full review

Exactly what I needed!

Exact fit for JVC HA RX300, comfortable, and appear to be a longer lasting type of material than the original - which had seriously degraded over time. These are a little tricky to install, but with patience, working them on the circular earpiece, they end up perfect.Read full review

Too much bass for my purpose

I bought these to use with guitar and ampliifier, but there is too much bass for this purpose in my opinion.
Otherwise good sound, tone and quality at a reasonable price.
OK if you have a lot of control over the music settings where you can adjust bass, treble etc. With my usage, l can do this but have to re-adjust equipment when using without headphonesRead full review
