Small powerful music box
Very impressed with this music box at first I wasn't sure about it until it arrived the sound quality is amazing really loud and the bass on this little box is spot on very compact fits into any small space I keep it on my bedside table and it looks great.. The features are good also cd radio bluetooth all work just fine the remote has a button where u can turn on and off the bass and control the equalizer. Poor sound quality and clock does not update
Saw previous reviews for this product suggesting default bass setting is too heavy but can be overcome by changing to another preset equalizer setting. Tried this but bass setting still too heavy giving very poor sound quality. I then tried putting the unit in different locations but this did not help either.
Also, the clock defaults to 00:00 when you plug the unit in only updating to the correct time when you use the power-on switch. Surely it is not beyond the wit of man to have the time update without having to switch the unit on first!Read full review

Would of-Could of-Should of, the story of a big ALMOST.
Straight to the point. I like:
*The sleek design with decent to touch materials; nice to see the real wood and aluminium combination, gives it presence&prestige.
*Clicky buttons make it tactile-friendly and the turning knobs add to the "easy to use" list of aptitudes.
*The understated quality from an often overlooked brand; this product gives you much of the same features and for almost half the money you'd pay for the posh brands.
*Easy to use and the connectivity options are plentiful, the dab radio signal seems consistently reliable and the CD is a nice, if a dying, feature. Bluetooth & USB connection are a must nowadays and you can find both on this product, together with Aux in jack and separate port for headphones.
I don't like:
*The finish could be better. Yes, it's well enough made, but the refinement left me wanting for more. It looks great in the photos, but you can tell this is a mid-shelf, not top shelf product when you get close.
* The sound,which is average at best, although powerful. Yes, it's clear enough and louder than your average radio unit, but the base tends to drown and overpower the audio scene. Listening to it for a longer time makes you want to turn the volume down, rather than up. Plus you get little choice from the 5 preset adjustments, they barely make a difference. The result is a borderline unpleasant listening experience at times, which is a real shame. A pair of tweeters and a manual equaliser would have made this sound unbeatable in this price range and then some.
*Headphones connection instead of that of an SD card; I know people tend to never use either of those options anyway, so nevermind.
Conclusion: This could be a hitter above it's price category, but it's a bit of a miss; loveable and charismatic, strong and subtle, but unrefined and unsophisticated. Notice I didn't mention the size, which is a tad on the bulky side, especially for something that tends to spend it's life in the kitchen, but it's perfect for me. It could have been one of the best products in this segment, if not for the things I've listed in the latter part of my review. I'm a fan of the brand and ultimately have choosen this product over more premium names simply because of the enormous value for money it offers. Yes, it could be better and I have criticized it relatively harshly, but only because, in my opinion, they got tantalisingly close to perfection, but never quite reached it. That's why only 4 stars.

Fault on the CD player
This is a very attractive and well-designed mini stereo, with lots of features and a great sound. The major drawback was a fault on the CD player, which stopped about 2 minutes into each track, as though the pause button had been pressed. For that reason, I had to return the product, but I have subsequently acquired an identical item, which works fantastically well and I am thoroughly pleased with it.Read full review

A great music machine
This is a good radio and CD player. It isn’t a hi-fi; but it is a great quality music machine. It picks up Bluetooth easily and plays clearly, the radio is very good in a fairly weak dab area, the CD player is fine. It’s easy to set up and is great for the price. Link it up to an amazon echo dot and it’s wonderful as a general provider of music or radio. Good HiFi system not perfect... but good
Good HiFi system. Bluetooth works good with my mobiles. Pity about the USB feature as doesn't work on my mobiles... probably need a correctly formatted hard drive our usb stick. Headphone socket works fine. A little bit too much bass but not bad. Remote is a little fiddly as is the FM tuning. DAB works very well. CD player works good. Would recommend.Read full review

Packs a BIG punch
This unit packs a powerful punch for the size. The bass is really deep and some people find it too much, but this feature can be turned off easily on the remote using the DSP button. Dab/Dab+ really nice.
Paired via bluetooth easily. Plays CDs and mo3 CDs. USB with mp3 also play great.
A great unit that can be moved (no handle) from room to room easily as its a nice small solid single unit.

Easy to connect Bluetooth and old school DAB and CD!
When you first switch on the bass is over-powering on all EQ modes - you need to hit DSP - the first press says 'on' but it was on before, the second press turns it off - and you can then scroll through the EQ settings to get something usable.
Until I worked this out the sound was unacceptable - voice was unintelligible and the unit would have got 2 stars.
Good sound for the size, easy to connect Windows and Android devices. DAB function is basic rotary control and press - like the £20 Bush unit it replaced. That interface could be better.
Found very few devices offered the combination of DAB,CD and bluetooth. This one delivers on that, with the exception of the default EQ/DSP mode fankel when first turned on.Read full review

Great sound, easy features
This is a nice quality stereo, good solid dials and buttons. The only gripe is that it is a bit bassy and the various EQ settings don't make much of a difference. I found putting some tissues into the rear cones dampened down the base to an acceptable level. A separate bass/treble control would have been a good addition. Nice compact stereo. To my ear it has a lovely sound. Haven't tried all the features yet but the dab radio is outstanding compared to my old stereo with none of the drop out in the signal that the old one had. The cd player sounds very good. The instructions are clear enough and the stereo is really easy to use. As I have said I haven't used some of the features such as the Bluetooth but if it is anything like using the other functions it should be breeze.
