Top class decoder
Don't be fooled by the price, this little wonder does more than some of its dearer rivals, all important CV's adjustable including full light and motor control, I have used these on a few models now on my exhibition layout and had no failures, there is no better test than a full day in a hot school/village hall shunting back and fourth
There are full and comprehensive instructions available online and they have worked well and programmed through NCE and JMRI
Take a punt on one, I don't think you will regret it

Don't be misled that it is cheap
The old adage of 'if it seems too good to be true - it probably isn't what it seems', was my first sceptical attitude towards the product. Well I hang my head in shame, the decoder has worked flawlessly in my old Lima locomotives in both DC and DCC. The Stay-alive facility is a godsend with my very old Hornby class 08, removing the occasional stutter due to the poor pickups.
The CV control parameters are excellent as are the lighting effects.
I would recommend Laisdcc decoders without reservation.

Does what it says in the description on the site.
The reason I used this decoder was for a small non lighting engine. Therefore the basic 4 wires where necessary without the extra wires for lighting etc. Plus the fact that it was relatively small, and fitted into body space with comfort. Would recommend to anyone doing their own Dcc conversion to use these decoders.Read full review

excellent value chip
This decoder does exactly what I needed it to do at almost half the price of other branded ones. I fitted it up to some cab lights at either end of the loco for effect . I feel it represents excellent value & will not hesitate to purchase more. Good decoder!
I purchased this decoder for my smaller locos. They were all analogue and I wanted to make them digital. This decoder was perfect because it is very small and is easy to fit in a small engine.

Decoder ?
Very compact, fitted to a prairie tank engine and small Jinty. Both work extremely well. Good value at 9.95 per unit. Fitted easily to locomotive. Having heat shrink fitted ensured safe fitting of wires. On some decoders they easily come off. From point of is of handling, robust. Only been us using for few days so can’t comment on longevity. How can you beat the Laisdcc decoder?
You can't beat the Laisdcc decoder, like most other decoders very easy to fit and program, just couldn't find any faults with it at all and for the price I don't think it can be beaten, definitely 5* Iv'e been running it for over a week quite heavily and it hasn't shown any problems at all!Read full review

Lais 860021 DCC decoder
I've just fitted the decoder to a Hornby R3137 Class 73 Electro-Diesel and it's working fine. I've got several Lais decoders in use, and they are excellent value and behave well. I'd prefer the 860020 decoder (the one with no trailing wires to the plug) in this installation but there is a planet-wide shortage of the 860020.Read full review
