Great product could be made even better by making configuration software simpler
Great product and does what is says on the tin. Would like for the configuration software to be more intuitive for newbies. It was fine for me but I can see that it would be a bit tricky to configure/navigate for certain people.Read full review

Limited OS Software Compatiblity
I guess I should have done some research first. The remote download software is only compatible with Windows and Mac. There are a lot of people that do not use either OS. The Logitech 665 does not support Chrome OS or Linux. These operating systems are becoming more popular day by day. As another reviewer said poor software. I really have not set it up yet. Great Remote with bad MyHarmony Software
The Logitech Harmony 665 remote Is a great low cost programmable remote. After saying that, the MyHarmony software is pure garbage. Having a Logitech Harmony One for may years, the software for it gave me many custom programming possibilities. The MyHarmony software allows a non-technical person to program the absolute basic functions, but nothing more. The MyHarmony software will not allow me to rearrange the order of activities and it has preset time delays that makes me wait an additional 10 seconds before I can use any of the buttons on the remote after everything powers up and is playing. The bottom line, I want my remote programmed to match my TV / DVD / Roku viewing life style, not Logitech's presumed life style.Read full review

Dissapointed
Very complicated to set up. All instructions were easy to follow, but the unit does not perform the functions it says it will without problems. It fails to execute the routines and then asks you to push the help menu to fix the problem. It says it's compatible with Roku. I have yet to find instructions on how to associate it with my Roku streaming stick, It's also a very awkward shape to handle. Other than that it's great!Read full review

Good Replacement for my Harmony 660
This remote replaces a very similar one that was damaged by leaking batteries, and it has proven to be an "exact" replacement. I'm very happy about that.
However, this remote is MORE SENSITIVE to the lower battery voltage found in rechargeable batteries, so I can't use them... something I COULD do with my earlier Harmony remote. I had to take a "star" off for that.
I guess we'll just have to watch the batteries in this unit very closely to prevent leaky battery damage as we can't take the safer route and use rechargeable ones.Read full review

Just okay. Only partial compatibility. "Activities" don't always work.
Can't set up activities properly because it doesn't know how to change my tv's source/input. On my sceptre, and I imagine on many other tvs, there is no button to push to cycle through the inputs. One button brings up the menu, then you use up/down keys to select the source. Also, the activity buttons don't bring on both my devices half the time, and the little help menu takes much longer to use than just mapping buttons to power each device. Not disappointing enough to return it, but not really worth recommending at the price point either. The down volume button on my old remote stopped working, and this remote accomplishes replacing that at least.Read full review

people who don't like remote don't know how to use it.
i've had a number of 65o harmony remotes with not a bit of problem. the people who commented on having problems don't know how to set it up and use it. as for battery consumption. remember this one device is operating perhaps four devices at once. naturally it'll use batteries up. please use your common sense. as for the roku stick. i did get caught there too unknowingly. all rokus will work with this remote except for the stick. all the remotes use ir to control devices. the roku stick doesn't use ir but wifi. i realize why it does that. being that it plugs into a hdmi port the ir signal would never reach the stick as most hdmi ports are on the back of the tv. there for the only way to control is by wifi. great device just use some common sense and all will go well. one need not have an ee degree to use.Read full review

Great online software to program the remote. This is my third Logitech remote. I wish they still had the rechargeable Harmony one remote as it is always a bit of a pain when the batteries die.
