They arrived very quickly and were already fully charged. They worked my makita cordless lawn mower and lasted almost as long as the makita batteries that I also use. They have been fully recharged ready for the next use. The so called 6ah battery.

I received my 6ah battery rather quickly, it looks like a normal makita battery but has a sticker on the battery and looks like a market stall item nevertheless I know it was cheap so decided to give it a go. I popped it on charge when I go it as it had two bars so it was ready for usage and I used it on my impact wrench which lasted one day (4ah legit makita battery last at a week) and to add insult to injury it doesn’t charge up again. I knew it was a cheaper alternative but to last one charge Is a joke. Will not be buying one of these again.Read full review

Good functional value for money if you’re a label queen

Good but.....

I left it to the last minute to order and it did arrive before Christmas, so the ordering and delivery was top notch. However, the battery is purported to be 5.0Ah and it might well be, but it is sooo much lighter than my 3.0Ah batteries that it makes me wonder if it really is. I haven't been able to test it thoroughly so can't say how well it preforms. It did charge with no problems. Time will tell on its reliability.Read full review

Useless. I will in future buy genuine batteries at whatever cost.

Bought 2 x 5.0Ah batteries. In one word - useless, Used both batteries for normal use and found they drain-out too quick. One takes 18 minutes to charge from empty and shows only one bar strength. Only use them for my site radio as I can't rely on them. I've since purchased genuine Makita batteries on sale. I'm now completely happy. Thank you Makita.

Don’t bother

Batteries take longer to charge then the genuine one, doesn’t last anywhere near the same time as a genuine one. The indicator on the battery will say it’s full but will then drop to 1-2 bar within seconds of use making it a pretty much pointless feature.
