Well engineered & Italian made for heavy use. Locks position very well. Better than copies or generic copies. Expensive but cost of damaged equipment and peace of mind is higher.

Very reliable

When locked up it is very solid and able to support more weight than you might first expect. I would definitely trust it to support a heavy expensive camera.
