Well I must admit this little camera is great. I bought it as a throw away backup unit but I'll tell you this, it ain't no throw away. Sure the focus is slower then any new unit but the picture quality is spot on. I focused on the eye of a Bird and then cropped the pic and he was still well sharp. The colours are excellent also. It's light weight and easy to use. The articulated screen and resolution is fantastic. I didn't pay much for it and that was the idea but I'll say this it was worth every pence. The wife has claimed it and I have been busy putting it through it's paces. If you want great quality for a very low price you can not go wrong with the D5100. Remember, it's good glass and framing that make the best shots not the camera.Read full review
