repackaged Pentax 10-17

Samsung version of the Pentax 10-17mm DA / Tokina 10-17. It's more frequent to have a wobble on the front part due to some collar unscrewing, but it's an easy repair. Quality is pretty good, not stellar if you put it on a 60mp sensor (thing you can do without mechanical vignetting of light hood when zoomed over 15mm). Remember it's a Pentax DA mount, iris and AF are controlled by the camera. Check thefisheyelist dot com for reviews.Read full review

Putting things into perspective

Great lens. Nice and wide for a digital lens. Lots of fisheye distortion. There is no correction in the lens. This can be sorted with software tho. I bought it for a Xmas present so only took a couple of pics to
check the quality which looks great. I also bought this lens primarily for video shooting and not for stills. As yet have not had a chance to put it through its paces but first impressions are great. I'll write a better review after Christmas.

Lovely lens

Great little lens for those quirky / arty shots and brilliant for those internal shots when you want to see the whole room
