Great edition

Book is in exemplary condition for 1989 and has a rare photo cover that's better than the more commonly found 'matchstick' cover. It was good being able to find it, since Amazon doesn't have this edition.Read full review

A book of life, a game of fate, a joy forever: by a madman

This is a book to read and read and read again. To assay, inspect, examine; you may not get to the bottom of it; there may not be a bottom to get to. But it is a lot of fun trying to get there! Disclaimer: If, that is, you like a search and not a story handed on a silver salver. It's like a Treasure Hunt with no end, or object, no goal but to enjoy the journey and to marvel at Nabokov as at a Grand Master. Again, not for everyone, but if you consider yourself a bit of an aesthete, this might be for you. If you are the kind of person who frequently says "That's hilarious." with a straight face, this is the book for you. You'll love it.Read full review
