Great little camera but needs a lot of patience to master it.
My main reason for purchasing this camera is the inch sensor giving 20mil. pixels in the picture. The pictures taken so have turned out excellent.
Great features are the white balance can be activated from a touch screen also the stop + & -button
can be adjusted by a second wheel on the camera top......if the pictures you are taking looks too
dark or too light it can be corrected before you press the take button. There are so many other fine details on the camera it will take a lot of practice to master them.
One major problem that I encountered & it seems many other people have had this problem........
How do you activate the flash ??????? I spent hours trying to fathom it out, downloded the main instruction book with no real help as all the instructions do not work in practice, even tried you tube but that was no good . Got it in the end but the instuctions Must be made more clear if there not to be more frustraited customers.
I am pleased with the camera though & would recommend if you have the patience to practice with it before you take it out , or are absolutly brilliant @ technical gadgetry.Read full review

Incredibly Capable But Awful Wi-Fi
This is an amazing camera. It's so packed with useful features that I'll be exploring them for a year.
The image quality at full-size (20.1 MP) is stunning and there are many features - like the lightning-fast auto-focus, highly adjustable metering, anti-shake, burst mode, etc, that help you to take the very best quality photos. The various "scenes" and "arts" modes can turn an ordinary snapshot into something special. The movie quality is outstanding and the one big failing in my last Lumix is fixed: the "hand-held nightshot" mode is superb.
It's small and heavy, and for someone with big hands, the controls can be a little fiddly as they are grouped so close together. I bought a LowePro padded case to go with it. The touch-screen is a good size and the auto-switching viewfinder works well, although I won't often use it.
The only thing that lets it down is the so-called Wi-Fi. It's so convoluted (you have to go through Panasonic's Lumix Club and so many set-ups and connections that it's hard to persist with it...and then it simply doesn't work! Very disappointing. I have a 4-year-old Samsung wi-fi camera that is far more capable. What were they thinking, with this terrible implementation?
For the money (well under £500) it is an amazing piece of kit that will suit my photographic needs for years.Read full review

Great little camera with semi pro features
Smallest. 1inch sensor compact camera. Takes time to learn to use it. Can be adapted for filters. Amazingly portable and fits in large trouser pocket. Very light. Good for anyone from enthusiastic amateur to semi professional.
Cons. Smallest aperture is f8. Cannot put filters or cap unless you adapt it. Have to put lanyard round wrist as slippery body ( but can be customised).
I suppose my biggest problem is the f8 minimum aperture. However great manual focussing mode with assist.Read full review

Great small travel camera
The camera represents good value for money. It is easy to carry around and given its size takes excellent photos and videos and is relatively unobtrusive when used in a crowd environment.

A small camera that takes great photos
I wanted a compact camera (for portability), images I could use in publications (rock climbing guides) and a zoom to match my current camera (30X). Compromises had to be made. The sensor and lens quality had to be priority and the 1" sensor of the TZ100 fitted the bill. With it comes the Leica lens. The trade-off was the zoom - it has a 10X zoom, but I thought the 20Mp might make up for it.
The results after only about 70 shots have confirmed my research. The photos are pin sharp and colour balance is excellent. People with fat fingers might find the small buttons difficult to use, but I don't. The menu system is easy to navigate and setting up for manual use is simple.
I still have a lot to learn about this camera, but I am more than happy with it.Read full review

Top Quality Travel Camera
Just amazing how good this compact travel camera is. Easy to use in auto mode and been very happy with the images. 4k video is great quality but sound is a bit of a let down with no external mic input. Overall I am blown away with it, and great value from Panasonic Outlet. Top DealRead full review

Great compact camera at fantastic price
Camera seems like new except for a small scratch on the rear of the top plate. Amazing value at the price of a used one in worse condition.
It has all the facilities of a larger ILC e.g. Raw capture, full PASM & Custom modes, exposure compensation etc. Image quality is excellent even though it has a small sensor.
A great buy. I will definitely look at the Panasonic outlet for future purchases.Read full review

Perfect travel camera for the serious user.
The only negative is the electronic view finder, it is on the small side but better than nothing. Otherwise a top product, small and compact which was what I wanted with high quality capability and a very good lens. Investing in a book about it is worthwhile as this is a great deal more than a point and shoot camera.
This is for the pro/am more than the absolute beginner, I suspect it's market is the DSLR user who needs a travel camera or one where the less bulk and small size is required, if so that was me and it does this job perfectly.Read full review
