Does the job it’s made for
I can only comment on the quality of this cat litter from the point of view of how easy it is to use. It also performs as well as similar products I have used. Although due to its slightly courser texture, more of it gets left behind in the sieve, that I use when removing the, “ used” material. I also find that this product doesn’t disguise the odour, after use as well as the much finer material that I have purchased previously. I suppose it’s the user who should have the last word. However he cannot type. So. I noticed that he took longer to get used to the granular consistency of this litter. He also continues to kick more of it out of the tray than he used to with the finer grade products. In summary. I think that this product does the job it’s made for. It’s good value, biodegradable and is easy to use. On that basis. Yes I will buy it again. Yes I do recommend it. Definitely not clumping!
Awful car litter-it doesn't clump at all so it just remains saturated with urine. Unlike other cat litters you can pick up the clumps and the litter always remains dry and odour free. Could do with a cut out handle
The product is excellent and very good value. The clumping granules makes it easy to clean the litter tray after it has been used. Being a very heavy bag it is awkward to use without a cut out handle. It is very heavy to lift up and tip up when opened and could do with something to make handling easier. I like the product though and buying in bulk saves money so will continue to buy. Once the bag is half full it’s far easier to tip up. I find that opening the top totally, which allows me to scoop out the litter with a trowel makes it easier at first but takes longer than just tipping up the bag. Read full review...

I thought I'd give it a try as it was cheap,really wasn't expecting anything fantastic as I'm a lover of Oko plus litter which is rather pricey.....but I have to say I'm impressed and my cats love this more that the oko plus. Great value, does the job.
Normally I buy Tesco clumping cat litter but it wasn’t available. I found Pettex to be identical to the Tesco brand and so very good value for money. Yes there are brands that form a more solid clump, but they are expensive for something you basically throw away and my cats certainly don’t care about this. With two outdoor cats who prefer to use a litter tray (!!) I begrudge paying too much for such a basic and much used item! I will be happy to buy again.Read full review...

Clumps well, removes odours, makes cleaning easier.
Good quality, clumps well and absorbs liquid - which helps with removing odours. There is not much dust from it and there is no "perfume" added as cats do not like anything scented. My cat will not use other type of cat litter as she doesn't like them, with Pettex, it doesn't harm or dry out her feet and it doesn't leave footprints over the floor!
