Pl-310 Digital DSP Am FM Shortwave TECSUN PL310 Radio

Nice small radio with excellent FM

Pros (i like):
- pocket format radio;
- can show temperature;
- can show signal strenght and signal/noise ratio;
- intelligent light (can turn off and use manual light);
- VERY GOOD FM sensitivity (better my anothers radios);
- clear FM sound;
- can use sleep timer to turn off radio;
- SW mode can manual set frequencies out of scale - to HAM frequencies;
- He fell from the table 7 times, but works anyway;

Cons (i not like):
- battery life is short (some others my radios work longest);
- reception SW almost accetable, MW can be better, LW are bad;
- incomprehensible connector for external antenna (i use alligator clip - connect external antenna directly to telescopic antenna);
- sometimes station search working correct, sometimes not.

Good People to deal with

I was told to use Anon as they were world renowed for their prices, quality . delivery and support and with this Tecsun Radio they were great...
The radio is compact , all easy to read instructions and although the contol
buttons are very small (its a small radio) they can be used even with my sausage fingers...I have not started to use all the functions but I am having fun finding out.

Easy to use, very good sound on FM, very usefull functions are ETM andATS.

Sensitivity 10mV/m on LW and 20 μV/m on SW is not what I expected (due to short ferrite antenna inside and short antenna rod outside), but functionality is very good and listenig on FM is a pure pleasure! I would recommend it to everybody.Read full review
