Excellent

The best mobile antenna that I am aware of, remember that placement is everything as it's directional, I found my local mast, used a compass to point it at accurately and placed it high up within the loft, when the mast is less congested at night I get up to 135Mbps download and 30Mbps upload (mast capped at 150/50), latency just under 20ms (if you want low latency check all operators as it seems to be mast/area specific).

The height seems to effect the upload speed a lot, so if you can mount on the roof I would recommend it if you need the extra speed, however for me, in the loft makes it very easy to alter direction if necessary (5G is coming soon), I used the Solwise adjustable mount+pole for this and 2x2M LMR200 antenna extension cables to get to my router.

Also be sure to check out Poynting on YouTube, they've done some excellent videos on this topic.

Poynting lives up to it's reputation!

Pros: Boosted 4G LTE signal stats significantly and this is set up in the loft, not outside on the roof yet.

RSRQ without antenna = -13.0dB, with antenna = -7.0dB
RSRP without antenna = -109dB, with antenna = -89dBm
RSSI without antenna = -77dB, with antenna = -63dBm
SINR without antenna = -3dB, with antenna = 5dB

No antenna download/upload speeds = fluctuated between 0.5 and 17mbs for down and up, with the antenna = 34mbs/27mbs - very little fluctuations. I do have the router locked onto 4G only on the 1800mhz frequency (band 3 in the UK for the Three network). I'm using a Huawei B535-232 router and i have obstructed line of sight to the mast which is about 1 mile from my property.

I imagine the signal would be even cleaner and DL/UL speeds would probably max out as if i were stood next to the mast (75+/40+).

Cons: Might be tricky setting this up on the chimney as it came with a 5m cable (unless i figure a way to send the cable down the chimney itself.

I would highly recommend this product - it is also 5G ready (which is bonus) and for this price there are no competing antenna!

11 % increase vs an ext antenna

This antenna gave me a 12 db (11 %) improvement vs a small directional external antenna. Now at 100 pc signal strength per the modem. This was based on a scan of all lte 4g bands for all carriers. The increase in speed is around 50 pc so my max now (midnight measurement when no one else is on) is 90 mbs down 40 mbs up on 4g. During the day that varies due to network usage but is definitely higher than before. Well made with heavy duty cables. Read full review

Does what it says on the box

The dual cable is very stiff, so a more flexible pig tail adapter is required to avoid too much pressure on the connectors.
