A must have tool for anyone with a troublesome car

Purchased this to replace my Pro-scan OBD2 unit that died after a power spike popped it's brains. The same spike put my stereo into a boot loop.
I'd been using my previous unit for 3 years after purchasing a car with many engine, electrical & LPG issues. This little tool together with Torque Pro (Available through Google Play Store) allowed me to read & reset engine fault codes as they popped up... and monitor various sensors while driving to help resolve the cars many issues.
It has saved my many trips to a garage & plenty of money just in resetting fault codes alone.
For the past 2 years I've used it through a 7inch Android stereo. This setup allows me to keep an eye on temps & pressures not covered on the dashboard displays as well as map journeys with live data logs. Handy to have on track days.
The new unit is just as capable as my old one, with fast comm support and quick connection to the ECU on startup.

One think to take note of... In the UK your car will have to be a 2002/2003 or later with some manufacturers for this to work. Vauxhall being one of them... Wouldn't work on a 1998 Omega (Tech2 proprietary software needed), but does work with a 2003 Omega.

Honda glow plug prob diagnosed

I bought this thinking that the price was good and it was going to cost me nearly £100 for a Honda garage to diagnose the problem, even before they fixed it.

The orange emission light kept coming on from time to time and the engine went into 'limp mode', it would not operate over 2000 rpm.

I Bluetoothed it to my tablet and used downloaded 'Torque Lite' free prog on Google Play and it immediately gave me a code which I looked up on the internet to show me what the code referred to, Glow plug circuit.

If a single mum like me can do it, then so can you ;) love this little gadget sooo much, I'm telling everyone about it, just download the app, plug it in, connect and off you go
I haven't quite explored all the tricks it has yet, but just a bit of proof, had my local garage try to prove me wrong after I told them there was only one fault left on my car, he asked if he could put his £2.5k snap-on kit on, of course I said yes sure, and guess what?? Same result!! Maybe a bit more detailed, but came down to the same conclusion, replace my lambda sensor! Lol he was very impressed with my little Bluetooth scanner, it's helped me enormous finding faults instantly instead of pouring money into parts not needed trying to hunt down any problems with your car, a very very happy customer here! Wow what a it of kit

This little gizmo is amazing, iv only had it a few days and iv spent hours customising it how i want it, the data it can give you is amazing. In the past i would have spent good money on boost guages and oil temp guages to name a few, this thing coupled with the obd2 app can give u all the i info on ur phone screen you ever wanted.
