I bought this for my daughter who has lots of pretty tops that need a steamer rather than an iron. I have used a steamer for many years and paid more than double for mine than I paid for this one. I have used it to demonstrate to my daughter how it should be used and it was really great. Quite powerful and as good if not better than my own. a setting and separate attachment for another fabric type would be very helpful as an all in one product.

I now assume that the 'silk' descriptor part of the title implies silk only. I have 110 gents non silk shirts to iron but gave up after 20mins trying to iron on of them as I couldn't get the wrinkles out and then successfully reverted back to my traditional steam iron.

Clothes steamer

Can't believe how good this is, thought it might be addiquit at best because of price but I'm delighted with how easy and efficient it is. Now I don't have to send my husbands suits to the drycleeners after only one wear I just go over them with the steamer and they look like their just back from dry cleaners. This is lightweight but strong enough to hang garments from when in use. It is easy to use and was also relatively easy to assemble.
I have used a professional steamer at work and obviously this is not as powerful but certainly it is much better than cheaper, hand held appliances on market. It isn’t a replacement for a steam iron if you like your garments pressed but it certainly removes wrinkles to an acceptable degree. Great for light use

This is adequate for what I needed which is light steaming. Works really well. Small water tank so it heats up very fast. The stand is quite flimsy probs a bit too light weight. The clips that come on the hanger are so tight to open I've given up trying to hang skirts on it. For the price and fact it does get the creases out well I would say it is brilliant for the money. If you need this for small amounts i would say it is perfect. For large amount you would need one with a larger water tank.Read full review

Second one I’ve bought

I bought one for myself and love it.
Then bought one for work as they are great and for steaming the clothes in the shop where I work.
It’s the best steamer I have used as it actually produces proper steam and does the job really well.
The only thing I would do to improve it is to extend the cable as if you have to plug in at counter level in the kitchen then the cable is only just long enough.Read full review

Fresh steam

The steamer is easy to assemble, quick to come to steam and simple to use. I got through a pile of ironing quickly.
The high pressure steam is great for freshening trousers and eliminates bacteria.
