C grade, but not bad. Lighter in wieght than expected, but still quiet and solid.

All works. Not the standard of quality finish expected from russel hobbs but the build and components are above average and it should last quite a few years. Handle has an annoying sharp seam on it that could have been cleaned off quite easily during manufacture. But it's outweighed by the overall solidity of the product. The base of the kettle itself is plastic and the upper part of the vessel is enamelled steel. I had to look inside to check that is wasn't also plastic because it's so light.Read full review

Nice looking, most importantly noticeably quiet

I was looking for a kettle to replace my nice looking but high decibel 6-year old Russell Hobbs pyramid kettle.
Very pleased with how quiet this legacy model is, looks very similar to the pyramid kettle and even fits the same base.
The water indicator level oddly starts at 4cups (??) . It would be more practical to have it for 2 cups as well. Other than this, I am happy with my purchase.Read full review
