Amazing results.

I bought it to supplement Samsung TV 6670 sound output. I am fond of listening music at high pitch. Sound bar attachment through optical cable has delivered what I had aimed. My selection paid off.

Works a treat.

Needed a meatier sound output than our 32" Samsung TV provided and this does the job nicely. When volume is increased, sound clarity is improved, particularly dialogue, whereas turning up the TV previously made it louder, but not necessarily clearer. The woofer volume is adjustable, so that it doesn't become too "boomy" as volume is increased. I don't make much use of the optional sound modes; having found one that works I stick with that.
The soundbar can be set to come on automatically when the TV is turned on and it shuts off automatically 5 minutes after the TV is switched off, so there's no additional fuss from using it, except that the volume control is via the soundbar remote, not the TV remote..
The size of the soundbar is just right for the size of the TV: I bought some mounting brackets separately to hang the soundbar under it.

Can't believe the quality of this item easily set up ..only wire for power . Fantastic sound with different settings. Recommend!

This product works well..... but

This product was less than 100 pounds but it's function is limited. If you change channel the device has a delay. You need to change channel again to help it to catchup. No on screen volume numbers so I never know how loud it is.

On the other hand the sound is very good considering bass comes from the small rectangle. It has a separate bass volume that works. Sound is much better than my Samsung TV speakers. Movies and games sound great.Read full review

Boom, Boom

This was a great investment I had no idea that it would sound as good as it does. I needed to improve my New Samsung TV, so I read all about Soundbars and their benefits. Deciding to 'keep it in the family' I felt that the J-250 would be better suited and am pleased to say that it gives a good representation of sound atall levels of volume and you have 3x set 'styles' to offer best choices toward the style/type of program you are either watching or playing back. This has to be the best value soundbar on the market. It has completely transformed the sound quality from my TV. No more mumberling dialog from on screen conversation, everything crystal clear. Great Product

I purchased this nit as I was having difficulty hearing clearly the sound of my new Samsung 40" television, it sounded tinny, so I thought I would give this a try and I am glad I did as the sound is much richer with more base and I am only using this on level two of the sound level. I only have one issue and I am not sure its the unit or something I am do, but when you alter the sound it does not show up on the screen, which would have been nice being direct sound.

At sub-£70 this soundbar is excellent and a perfect addition to my 40inch 4k TV. I wouldn't have known it was refurbished if it wasn't for some very minor missing parts (as described in advert). The unit itself still had the original packaging stickers on it. Delighted!Read full review

The sound quality of the bar is disappointing. 'Clear Voice' is exactly what it is not and the unit is very base-heavy. Probably OK for pop music but that's not what I bought it for. It is being used with a Samsung TV so it should have been better.Read full review

Don't waste your money.

I have noticed no difference.
The set up instructions are very unclear for the 'older' generation
I can not set up to use with the TV remote as it does not support this function.
