I have a vast experience in external memory which I have been using since all formats appeared on the market. Having tried and tested many I have come to the following decision. If I am buying an external hard drive it will be Western Digital, for usb sticks it’s Kingston and sd cards Sandisk. Now, I’m not saying these makes are the best available – what I can say though is that they are extremely reliable. I have never had any of the above fail or let me down in any way and will only buy products from those manufacturers – even if they cost more than other makes available. I have mostly used external hdd’s and usb sticks but now that those electronic gadgets we use are getting smaller while the available capacity is getting bigger we are having to purchase micro sd cards to store our data.
