Great Boar Brush

This brush had excellent tip softness right out of the box, I can just imagine what it'll be like in a year or so. As is common for boars, it's got a lot of backbone. So it's stiffer and scrubbier than a typical badger brush, but without the annoying scritchiness that a badger in this price range would have.
The knot measured 27mm and was very dense. The closest thing to a complaint that I can come up with is that, not yet broken in, it takes a lot of loading. But i's improving with each shave. Highly recommended.Read full review

Excellent Brush

I like badger brushes but this boar brush is really fantastic. I prefer it now over my badgers. Break it in by rubbing it on a towel for 10 minutes each day for a week. Leave it in cold water in the fridge over night for 2-3 days. Rub it on a towel and it breaks in nicely. Mine is soft after just a week of use. Top quality boar brush at affordable price

This is actual my second SOC brunch that I have ordered from Semogue and I can assure anyone that you won't be disappointed. My first brush was SOC Badger brush.

There are no bristles that shed and the brush does not have any distinctive boar smells. The handle is very well made. The loft and backbone is fantastic and the lather is slick and luscious.
