Excellent Choice All-Rounder...

Sigma 24 to 105 mm f4 art

I thought this lens after reading some excellent reviews on the Internet, this lens is incredibly sharp wide open at f/4, and that is viewed at 100% magnification, no need to sharpen in lightroom. Up to now I have been using the Nikon 24 to 70 F2.8, but I've never been really happy with that lens, The Sigma is much sharper, there is some shading in the corners but this is easily correctable in lightroom. I am using this lens for wedding photography, and have been stunned by the results. It's a heavy lens but no heavier than the Nikon. And you have image stabilisation as a bonus. I consider it superb value for money, and I'm happy to use it for professional use.Read full review
