Good Product. Bad Assembly Instructions

Well Made but missing a couple of screws and raw plugs. As for the assembly instructions you might as well bin them and fit it together without them as the diagrams show hinges in the wrong place and back to front in the case of the large hinges. I binned the instructions halfway through the build and worked it out myself and bought some screws and raw plugs to complete it. Once finished I was happy with it though and was worth the frustration.Read full review

Absolute rip-off - cheapest desk ever made

This has to be the worst quality furniture I’ve ever bought, it’s 100 times worse than the cheapest IKEA furniture. It doesn’t sit flat on the wall - the bottom sticks out all the time when folded up, the two long hinges were different lengths & the clasp will probably last a week - I could break it in 3 uses. It’s on my wall now & I’ve drilled 4 big holes to get it there so I’ll keep it but don’t waste your money. Also do not use the screws that come with it, they are nowhere near big enough to hold it. Nice when tucked away. But too heavy for wall mounting and screws too small to hold the hinges.

Fittings are no good. Screws are too small for a product that heavy. It cracked where the screws mount the hinges. Had to fit thicker screws and secure with no nails glue.
The product is too heavy for wall mounting.

It looks nice when tucked away but unfolding it for use can be tricky due to weight and not a smooth process. Not expecting it to last.

Instructions are completely useless as wrong!!! Did what previous purchasers did and scrapped them - worked it out ourselves. The item has got a few scuffs marks but apart from that looks great - will be a great addition to our daughters very small box room. Good item for the moneyRead full review

Great looking, strong looks good on the wall and when it’s down

I love this desk. I would have given it a massive 5 stars if the hinges hadn’t been so tricky. Whilst the instructions were ok. When it came to the hinges they weren’t. Get them the wrong way round (as I did) and you pull them away from the wood and have to order another desk.
The hinges sit inside the desk when folded and the hinge on the desk has to be flipped to get it right. Once up and fitted it’s brilliant. Very strong and looks amazing in my daughters room.Read full review

Let down by wrong instructions!

It's a decent end result and a great 'solution', but how would a company justify sending out a product that clearly has had holes drilled in the wrong place for the hinges, making it useless without a customer investigating and altering to make it right? especially when many other earlier reviews have already alerted them to the mistake? Even an enclosed 'amendment' slip would be appreciated! It takes about 5 times longer to build than it should, and you need to be savvy about it too.Read full review
