Lightweight with great features, alarming story and well acted

This is the original film but is the uncut version. It reveals the sort of incidents which you might expect to experience in a British country village. It stars Dustin Hoffman as an American mathematician who arrives in a rural village with his British wife (played by Susan George) to try and find the peace and quiet so that he can concentrate on his work. After this point in the film things begin to liven up. Expect to see some strong violence and a lot more.

The film was entertaining as expected. There were a couple of minor problems:
1/ The DVD player didn’t recognise the disc, so I had to keep opening and closing the drawer before the disc was recognised.
