Great idea, broke easily.

Have been wanting one for a while because of rapid single-serve water heating ability. Water dispenser tab/lever broke with first use. Product is no longer supported by Sunbeam, repair/replacement not available. Wonderful Product

It doesn't "brew" anything. It boils water for use in tea, coffee, ramen noodles, soups, etc... It boils the water just as quickly, if not quicker, than a microwave using much, much less electricity. (Not to mention the health hazards of microwaves.)Read full review

Sunbeam Hotshot 3211 Hot Water Dispenser

This model was the first one I had seen, but I bought the newer model. I can see why all the reviews rave about this older version. It’s sturdier, it doesn’t continue dripping after dispensing, the upper half doesn’t lean down forward from pressing downward on the dispenser lever because the sides are structurally supported. Obviously, I’m comparing to the many that I have used of the newer model. It’s worth paying more for the older model. I love my 3211 Hotshot!Read full review

Sunbeam Hotshot

I was disappointed when our Hotshot stopped working. I was even more disappointed when I discovered they were discontinued. Checking
e-Bay, I found there were plenty available, but most were priced way more than I was willing to pay. I took a chance with a "pre-owned" one, priced much more reasonabley. I am very happy with my purchase. It is clean, and works great. We use it several times a day. One question: why did Sunbeam discontinue such a good product?
