Great Sci-Fi Ulitimate Collection for those late Nights!!

I have always been a big fan of these old Universal Horror/Sci-Fi films from the 1940's to late 1950's. This classic SCi-Fi Ultimate Collection is definitely worth purchasing. I was so pleased with these films in this collection, especially some more classics from director Jack Arnold(Creature From the Black Lagoon) such as Tarantula, Monster On The Campus and The incredible Shrinking Man. Plus other gems such as The Deadly Mantis, The Mole People and The Land Unknown just to name a few. Great for late night viewings and of course good double features, due to the length of each film just running under 80 minutes. Crystal-clear transfers of sci-fi B&W classics

I’ve purchased DVDs of old sci-fi and horror films in the past and been disappointed with the quality of the audio and video, so I was hesitant to purchase this collection. I was very pleasantly surprised by the image quality of these old films. I have an up scaling Sony blu ray that makes the movies look better than ever. I was particularly pleased with the clarity of the transfers, Tarantula, The Deadly Mantis, and The Monolith Monsters in particular. These pictures look and sound like they were filmed and released this year. The set is affordable, and well worth it.
