The maybe history of Amati

Filmed in different countries, at the beginning we can see some views of Cremona, cities of Nicolo Amati and Antonio Stradivari. It is a kind of "suspense" film that begins by the auctions of various violins, and the Red one (Nicolo painted it with red colour and blood). Too many flashbacks but interesting to see the auctions and the history of this violin. The actors are great and we are moved by the history, decors and costumes.Read full review

One for good story lovers.

Hugely enjoyable film. The life of a violin through the many human lives of the various owners. Great concept like ' The Yellow Rolls Royce ' or 'The Green Accordian'
