True blood is one of the best HBO shows ever. Has all the quality's for a great series. Unique story line, Super natural, creatures,drama, excitement, thrilling, twist and turns surprising,comedy, romance, sex. Got it ALL! Excellent season of True blood. Love True Blood. Best show ever!!!

It is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries series of novels by Charlaine Harris, detailing the co-existence of vampires and humans in Bon Temps, a fictional, small town in northwestern Louisiana. The series centers on the adventures of Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), a telepathic waitress with an otherworldly quality.The fictional universe depicted in the series is premised on the notion that vampires (and other supernatural creatures) have been living among us, unbeknownst to the majority of humans until two years before the series premiere, when the creation of synthetic blood ("Tru Blood") by Japanese scientists allowed vampires to come out of the coffin (a term coined as a play on "coming out of the closet") and reveal their existence to the world on the basis that they no longer need to feed on humans to survive.E-1 This so-called 'Great Revelation' has split the vampires of the world into two camps: those who wish to integrate into human society (aka 'mainstream') by campaigning for citizenship and equal rights,E-1 and those who think that human-vampire co-existence is impossible because it is in conflict with the inherently violent nature of vampires. Sookie is a waitress at Merlotte's Bar and Grill, owned by Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps. Sam is a shapeshifter, though this secret is kept hidden from most of the town. Don't miss out, watch this!

One word, "Awesome!!!" You will not be disappointed with this one! True Blood fans don't miss out! Bill does directing in this season, and he is sensational! Listen to his commentary! A REAL Shakespearian! The woman who plays the grandmother of the little wolf was perfect for her part, very believable! They pulled her from Winter's Bones, excellent choice!!! I don't know what else to say, except that all of these actors can act, and they make it seem very real and believable, but tasteful, without too much gore! That's why I keep watching, I'm never bored with it, and it's good, with a great plot that all jives together! Anna Paquin is a natural, worthy of her Oscar at such a young age! For me, I like a good, believable vampire story with a little bit of kindness and humanity mixed in. True Blood is all this and more! I love all the actors, especially Bill, Eric, and the Wolf! Exceptional

Sookie Stackhouse is not the only one in danger! Watch as they battle the most powerful vampire who wants to screw mainstream/intergration with humans. He is a firm believer in vampires being and doing whatever they want to humans because they are food and it's in their nature so why not follow the food chain route and forget humanity. I wound up buying each season separately; which was not a good value. It's a good show. Go ahead and buy it; but buy them as a boxed set. You'll save money.

guilty pleasure

i hear complaints all the time about this show.."it's stupid", "it's going on too long"etc. i feel different about it. i think the show and all it's characters are great fun!.....i think its written with a bit of a sense of humor and with the endless possibilities ..it could keep going on several more seasons in my book. it's no Man Men...i mean you don't need to over think this one at all...just kick back and enjoy the campy supernatural fun!Read full review...

What have they done to this story?

I really loved the Sookie Stackhouse books that this show is loosely based upon but I hate what the writes and producers have done to the story and characters. They really destroyed the characters from the books and destroyed the story and the emotions. I feel that they've sodomized the characters and changed the story so much, they took something I loved and turned it into something horrible.

Truth be told I bought this for the nudity and I was disappointed by that and it was a really great price. There is no way I'd ever consider buying it for full price, probably not even half price. I don't have cable TV so I can't watch it on TV and this was my only option. I really had no intention of buying but when I saw the great price I thought it's not too bad. Awesome series

The best series ever and I don't even like vampire stories. Love Alexander Skarsgard as Eric Northman. His facial expressions are priceless.

Here we go again. Bon Temps is not a safe place for the living.

Poor sookie. She just can't get a break can she?
First Vampires, then werewolves, last season was witches.
And now, this hot mess. The Vampire Leadership is after Bill and Eric leaveing poor sookie to wonder what to do. To top it all off, an old enemy has returned and Fairies are making things more interesting by the minute. What's a poor girl for
