Unreliable!

Sometimes does what it's supposed to other times not. Not what you want when the boogie man is prowling around the the house. Walk by the sensor fast...no alarm. Point it at an opening garage door...no alarm. Jump up and down in front of it...maybe. Just bought this to let us know someone is on the property...not reliable!Read full review

Really Works

This is my second Driveway Patrol I purchased this one for my father who has dementia and wonders off when his wife is asleep. No more excuses for her not to hear him walk past the door, this alarm has two settings low and high and mine has been working great for over tow years. Easy to set up just place a square 9 volt battery into the sensor and mount it anywhere the receiver plugs into any 110 outlet to sound the alarm whenever someone walks past the sensor. I have my sensor mounted inside the garage and the receiver is on the kitchen counter so if someone enters my garage the alarm sounds off.Read full review

Good price for what it does

Although they mentioned 400 feet I believe, it is more better at 300ft or less. It's still effective so don't get me wrong. Not sure if it's an "As seen on TV" product but it's a good price for what it does.Read full review

400 ft is a joke

It says up to 400 ft. I can see the thing from my kitchen window and it still won't go off. I've tried new batteries and still nothing. I put tape over the sensor and painted the rest to camouflage it is the only reason I haven't sent it back. Figure since I painted it I'll have to eat it. I guess theres something to be said about buying something cheap. The wind blowing would set it off. Invest in a good quality one if your going to buy one of these. My kids got one at Menards for about 60 dollars and it works good. Don't know if I could of gotten my money back--didn't try--just chalked it up.Read full review
