These work well, I do think they could be a little thinner of softer to begin with so they melt better as they didn't go completely soft as should even in boiling water straight from the kettle, but they did work and made a good mould, just a but thick round the edges still and had to press the teeth do hard to mould them. I've has ones before that go very soft.Read full review

Good product for the money.
It would have been useful to have some instructions in the package to tell you how to warm the product to mould it to your mouth. Personally I find the lower gum shield comfortable to wear but the upper one seems too large for my mouth and is therefore uncomfortable to wear.

Good product, but lack of instruction
So, two mouth guards arrived in the post in a case.
The plastic case had a hinge, however this was broken. Not really a problem as it was just the hinge that was detached.
No instructions on what to do with the mouth guards to shape them to your teeth.
But, as I have had serval of these I know what to do with hot water etc.
The product is good. But if I had not known what to do to shape it I would have been unhappy.

I put the first sheild into hot water, although it says 30 seconds it completely twisted out of shape & was very soft. I could not save it.
The second one I kept an eye on & took it out sooner. When I'd moulded it as instructed the plastic set quite hard & was sharp in places so I could not use it.

I bought the gum shield as I grind my teeth while sleeping. Rather than paying a fortune for a gym shield from the dentist I tried this product instead. I use the upper gum shield and it serves its purpose in protecting my teeth while sleeping. The lower gum shield didn't fit well at all and may be more suited for a child.Read full review

Tooth pain gone in days
My dentist advised me to wear a gum shield at night to prevent grinding and bruising to gums under prominent teeth. The tooth pain, which I'd assumed was due to an abscess, cleared up in a few days.
I chose this supplier because, unlike many, there was just one size of shield offered. It seems pointless to buy double the number of shields only to throw half away.
