Solved the drone problem with aftermarket exhaust

Excellent product, this was installed to help with the Drone noise inside the cabin. I recently purchased a Carven TR Progressive system for my 2018 Silverado Double-Cab with a 5.3L. I knew going into this that a bullet style muffler would be prone to some drone noise especially when your AFM kicks in. I loved the deep tone but needed turn it down a notch for my daily driver. The best compromise was to install this Vibrant Resonator which is another high quality piece in front of the muffler. Mission accomplished!! The drone is almost non-existent and it's a much better driving experience for the daily commute. Keep in mind this won't fix the AFM 8 to 4 cylinder helicopter type noise but it will certainly help reduce it. Read full review

Awesome resonator

This is the second vibrant ultra quiet resonator I’m super happy with these resonators. I installed this one onto my 97 civic after deleting the cat to get rid of all the rasp deleting the cat adds. My car sounds amazing with this res in place of the cat it’s small which is a huge plus but it sure packs a punch for the size. If you want to get rid of rasp or tone down some interior drone this is the resonator you want to buy ! Best Resonator EVER

Bought this for my 2002 WRX that is 100% straight piped. Before this resonator was installed it was insanely loud at an idle and had so much drone and rasp. After this resonator was installed it instantly got rid of the drone and rasp. The car now has the deep Subaru rumble and doesn't have the nasty rasp. I knew vibrant made great products but this was my first time buying a vibrant product. I had no clue a straight through resonator this small would yield such results! HUGE DIFFERENCE!

After installing a header on my Civic, I had a terrible loud raspy exhaust, after purchasing this and getting it installed, it made a dramatic difference in tone and almost got rid of the rasp and drone from the car. Vibrant resonator

I went with this to replace the stock resonator on my Mercedes went with 3 inch because factory piping is around that size. I also used a ypipe with 3inch outlet to two 2.5 inch 100 fell race cats. Best resonator money can buy

I purchased this reaonator because I was told by other people that it really does change the tone of the exhaust. In my case my car's exhaust was very raspy in the higher rpms and it just drove me nuts. After getting this resonator installed the rasp disappeared, the sound decibels dropped, and the tone of the exhaust changed to a deeper tone without the drone effect. It works just as I read in the reviews

Used this on a 1.9tdi diesel with 2.75" straight pipe, but with original downpipe, without cats. Before installing the resonator 3rd gear pull with open windows, showed 93.2 dB, after installing the resonator 89.2 dB. (with closed windows 88.3dB - 86.9dB). The resonator made the sound much deeper and the car is quieter on the highway now. Overall I'm Impressed, but the car needs a downpipe and possibly a muffler...Read full review

No more out of control sound at higher rpms

I bought this for my 2005 srt4 which I was running a downpipe on 3inch dual echaust it would idle pretty loud and above 3000 Rpms it would have an annoying droning sound. After I installed this resonator on it received a smoother exhaust sound and got rid of the nasty rasp drone sound I would highly reccomend this. 👍Read full review

Great performance

Installed it in the tailpipe of my Nissan Titan after I installed a Magnaflow muffler. It cleaned up the exhaust note and got rid of the exhaust drone from inside the cab. My exhaust is loud outside but almost as quiet as stock inside. I love this thing.Read full review
