The only saw you will ever need.

I am an ex senior firefighter and during my time we used this type of equipment ( Sabre) saw when doing car accident rescues now the use of hydraulic cutting gear has been introduced, this saw is still a superb piece of equipment , versatile reliable and quick can be used on most materials , an absolute must for any DIY handyman or construction company, superb quality and a fantastic price.Read full review

Review of 'VonHaus 800W Reciprocating Saw'

I would recommend running the saw without a blade in for up to about 10 minutes at the slowest speed setting before using under load in order to let the motor brushes bed in because my saw seemed to spark inside when I first powered it up.

the blades it comes with work well enough but dont cut too fast with the metal blade because it will get hot and loose it's sharpness.

i have used it to cut up to 2.5 inch aluminium and plastic pipe. and up to 2 inch steel and stainless pipe. it can work on up to 3/16 steel plate also and 1/4 aluminium.

for under 30 quid it's a great value saw.

Amazing tool

I can only say good things about this product as there is nothing bad, it is easy to use, strong but small enough for me a woman of 72yrs to use, I have taken down in just 1 day 10, 7' fir trees with a spread of 4' leaving just the main trunk, this tool is truly amazing. Would I recommend - Absolutely, it has all the power and stability of much more expensive toolsRead full review

High Power, Low Cost

I'm sure that if you're a professional and use a reciprocating saw every day then you need a weightier, more heavy-duty model. But to be honest, for a DIY type like me, this is a perfect option, and a lot for the money. It's light, powerful and the blade change is easy. And that's all I need. I expect it will last me ten years, and I hope I'm right.Read full review

A tool which is easy to use and very effective.

This item arrived quickly in secure and solid packaging. The saw is very simple to use and I was impressed with its efficiency. Although I had never used a reciprocating saw, in very short order I had cleared two 3 metre high conifers with minimum effort. Job done. Brilliant. Read full review

Really Well Built Reciprocating Saw at a Fantastic Price

I bought this reciprocating saw on the recommendation of a trusted Professional and I can now see where he was coming from. It is a really well built piece of kit and with the variety of blades available, I have found it really versatile! It may be a slightly heavy for some, but it reflects the robust build quality. Blade change is tool less, quick and efficient, all in all, this is an effective, highly recommended reciprocating saw!Read full review

cutting with ease.

although quite heavy, the saw is robustly built and cuts very well, using the 150mm wood saw blades. have so far cut lengthways through five foot fencing panels and through general timber up tp 75mm thick, without any problems at all. saves an awful lot of energy, as Im 76 now and its been a godsend. excellent product and price.Read full review

Works well but vibrates a lot which hurts the hands.

Saw arrived quickly and worked well. I used it to cut out several tree stumps. Gloves must be worn when using because there is a lot of vibration in use which numbs the hands and makes them sore. Its important to have the saw stop hard against the item being cut to reduce vibration. There may be less vibration when using a finer saw than the one I used. If there had been less vibration I would have given it a 5star ratingRead full review
