Was a bit unsure at ordering .wanted it for my shed easy to install and use .quite loud hopefuly will wake me up if it does go off thinking off getting another one for other shed .overall 9 0ut off 10 .would have given 10 but plastic feels a bit flimsy so make sure its mounted properly other wise i think if you drop it .it would shatterRead full review

Cheap and cheerful
I bought this device to put into my shed. The fixings are very easy and I was worried that a windy day might cause it to trigger falsely, but it has been working very well. I had a spare 6v transformer knocking about so mine is wired to the mains so I don't have to worry about batteries. The siren isn't deafening it's about as loud as you would expect of something of this price, but it can be heard which is the most important thing. I don't think I would trust it to deter someone from breaking into my home, but for shed and garage it's much better than nothing at all.
Down sides... it is infrared so it is line of sight to arm and disarm, that is to say that you cannot be a distance away from your shed to arm it or disarm it should it go off in the night. The other little niggle is when you switch on a light near to the alarm it seems to arm the alarm so you have to disarm it again.
My advice is if you want a little something to put your mind at rest, go for it. If you have a little more money or your shed contains valueable items, the look for a wireless system or better still a bluetooth system which are a lot more precise and effective.Read full review

I have purchased several of these alarms to give to relatives and friends. They are useful, practical, effective and as small portable objects are able to be placed where the user ( especially elder persons) wishes, to alert them to any unlawful intrusion. Peace of mind is assured. During the summer I did voluntary work at a lido. Amazing bargain priced alarm
I bought this alarm for my shed thinking I'd get what I paid for, but this has far exceeded my expectations.
It's idiot proof to operate, very loud, sensor is great and it can be moved about easily.
I was worried the alarm would maybe go off on windy days etc but so far it's been ok with no false alarms.
