The best anti rust primer you can buy

I used this on the bottom of my boat many years ago, it was glass blasted and given 3 coats. It is still in excellent condition and this small tin is just to carry out repairs when has received collision damage Read full review

Great product for protecting steel from rust

I used this product on a RHS steel frame I made for a garage door. I had intended to paint over it but never got round to doing so. Over 12 years later the only sign of any rust is where I have accidentally scraped through th zinga but even that is very localised to the scrape itself and has not spread under the zinga as it would with paint. I am about to use it again on some more steel fabrication work. Will I top coat with paint? Maybe - but if I don’t get a round to it I will not be concerned.Read full review

Easy to apply smoothly

Applies smoothly, covers well, but quite difficult to ensure continuous coverage even after two coats. Adhesion not that brilliant even after degreasing and metal disc angle grinding. Eventual performance will not be known until old wrought iron railings (a war memorial kissing gate) have been exposed for a few years. Excellent protection

Good cold zinc paint

Very pleased with cold Zinga zinc paint if follow directions does cover OK
thought it was a little pricey but when doing small car metal parts will cover many so works out not so bad per part

Great stuff.

Had this stuff recommended by a local company who made some steel mooring post bases for me, they use it all the time. It went on easily with a brush, but the steel does need to be thoroughly degreased first or it won't stick. I wiped it down with acetone which worked fine, but I'm having some boat parts made by them too and will have those blasted before applying the zinc for best results.Read full review
