Security camera.

I have been using two of these very intensely monitoring a pet in the house. The website alerts you good on phone but unless you have a very good (higher than 10meg) Internet connection it constantly needs reset even though it only uses 19k baud connection. When I changed to 50meg connection it works great but few people have that. Snapshot works good on sound detection but motion detection only records for a few seconds. There is no way to save any of the recordings unless maybe if you pay for MeShare website cloud service.Read full review

Great Seller, Z-modo app is sketchy.

Great seller, the review is about Zmodo only, the app basically takes control of your phone and runs Non-Stop. If you want your questions answered about any software issues or simple questions like how you control the camera or it's commands then you have to hope that the answer is on the web in a Google conversation threads. They do have a 800 number that you'll be waiting 30 minutes . For a simple cheap camera to add to an existing camera setup then it's a great option but to buy this as your first or main camera, I would not recommend it. Good concept, terrible execution

While this is an IP camera, it only works with their mobile phone app--and not very well. They have a windows app that doesn't work. I am unable to get it to work with the open source security software iSpy. It has a nice wide angle view, motion detection, and night vision but the crappy documentation and unreliable mobile app negate its usefulness. You can view a live feed or its motion detection will trigger an alert to your phone and its then supposed to record. It doesn't save the video to your device. Instead it saves to its cloud service (which states its in beta).and if you want to save to your device you have to pull it from the cloud--except half the time the video isn't there. So, you'll have a notification that there was motion but no footage--useless unattended operation. It does work for checking in on the live feed manually. The app is not intuitive.Read full review

While the camera is easy to set up and seems to work well, be advised that there is a loud click when the shutter is in use. This is a great camera if you don't have hard requirements for monitoring or outdoor. The camera is very light weight -- drop it and it's done. And you can't use it outside. For keeping an eye on your babysitter or workmen in your home, it is great.Read full review

Great for the price

It's a nice small security camera that I bought for my room to catch any thiefs it was easy to screw onto my wall, and easy to set up on my phone, you can't control the angle of the camera so you have to make sure it in a good spot but it is great for security, the day after I installed mine the motion sensor picked up my door being opened and recorded my cousin going in my room look through my drawer, and notified my phone while I was at school, I am definitely happy with my purchase and will probably buy more for other rooms, and I also love the 2 way audio so u can talk through itRead full review
