Good item at a good price

I was very happy with this item. It seems to be made well, has good weight and is easily gripped. Several reviews I read before purchasing it said that the cartridge doesn't pivot on it, which was disappointing to know but not a deal-breaker. This seemed to be the case with mine as well at first but as I examined it to see why it didn't pivot, it suddenly started to work. I'm not sure why that wasn't immediately the case. It's as though it was just initially stiff and loosened up a bit after being worked a little. Nevertheless, it seems to operate fine now. All in all, I'm quite pleased to have this and will probably purchase some additional ones eventually to have spares. I doubt that the ones Gillette makes today are as beefy as this one. And the less money I have to give to them for their absurdly overpriced wares, the better. Thanks for making this available to us.Read full review

The title is good ! It states Off Brand...

This after market Sensor shaving handle is average at best. It does not hold the cartridge very well! The buttons you press in on to remove or install the new cartridge are not well made. Just ill fitting, light weight handle. I'm not impressed!Read full review

The best Sensor razor handle I have ever used.

I just ordered a second razor handle for my travel bag. This handle is better than any handle Gillette ever made for Sensor blades. I tried another, more expensive, off brand handle that costs 3 times as much but I sent it back because this is the best one I have ever used.Read full review

CAN'T BEAT IT. GREAT HANDLE...BUY 2

Impressive Razor Handle...I am really surprised this razor handle is so solid. Real beefy and easy to hold. Not the light weight cheesy thing I expected I would receive. Boy....Was I wrong. This handle has some heft to it. Probably just as good as any name brand. Well balanced and real super firm rubber grips on the handle, great control. Gonna buy a spare,(I loose everything) they sure are cheap enough. I am really pleased.Read full review

Off brand Sensor handle

I bought three of these. The ones I received do not look like the picture. They are much nicer. They're beautiful, well-designed and completely compatible with Sensor blades. They would be a bargain at twice the price. But, since mine do not look like the picture, I'm not sure a buyer would get exactly what I got.Read full review

Very good replacement, but not perfect.

My Sensor Excel blades fit in the head very well and functionally it's great. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it doesn't fit in the original travel tray. The neck on this version is too thick so it won't click into the tray clasp the same way the original did. Other than that, it works great.Read full review

Replacement handle for Gillette Sensor blades

This off brand handle is excellent. It has a solid feel, a bit heavier than the original but it feels good in your hand. The Sensor blades fit perfectly.
My two original Gillette handles for the Sensor blades lasted a long time - long enough that they were no longer available from Gillette, but I had 20+ blades left from a great sale a year or so ago and this handle has saved me from the cost of buying a new handle and blades to fit.Read full review

A solid performer; not as good as the original, but what is?

It's a good product and better than the full plastic model that Gillette currently sells for the Excel razor cartridge. I've been using this cartridge for more than 20 years and have used up only 2 of the original Gillette handles. This isn't quite as good as those, but it's a solid performer and will allow me to continue using the cartridges I like.Read full review

This handle has all the qualities I want: It has sufficient weight to feel substantial in my hand. The springs help the handle to firmly grip the blade cartridge, The rubber on the handle provides for a secure grip. The chrome finish is shiny and consistently looks clean.
