The Tado system is right for us. We can see every room in the house and simply set the temperature as we want. It can identify an open door or window and cut off the heating until the window or door is closed. If we take our phones out with us it will switch off the heating until we return. We believe it is saving us about 4 or 5% of our usage.

The downside is pairing with the system and getting new kit working. There are too many variables to adjust to simply have it working immediately. However Tado can with your permission enter the system and identify your problems if reported to them.Read full review
