Wood burner paint
Searched for a heat resistant paint but could only find spray versions. This product was exactly what required & the correct volume. don't be fooled by the volume it coverage is more than adequate for small to medium size wood burner / stoves requiring a re-paint.Read full review

Not up to the task
I purchased a secondhand woodburner stove and painstakingly removed all existing paint and surface rust. Wiped the stove down and applied a thin coat of this paint.
24hours later I applied a second coat and it looked great!
48hours after this I lit my first fire, all good :-
However the next day when the fire had cooled I noticed the paint had started to flake?
It has now all flaked off completely?
It obviously requires a underseal primer to bond which is not mentioned on the instructions, which I followed precisely.
Not a product I would recommend.Read full review

Really Good Stuff.
I used this paint on my motorcycle twin exhausts which were painted as standard when manufactured instead of being chromed. As the bike was many years old, the pipes looked pretty shabby and let down an otherwise fine appearance. Although I could only wire-brush them by hand, in-situ, leaving plenty of ingrained rust, this paint proved to be amazing stuff and remained in place for about a year. Even then, flaking was pretty minimal, requiring no more than a touch-up. And as I'd only used about a quarter of the tin, that was no problem. So, for a twin cylinder bike, that means four years of smart exhaust pipes and threfore excellent value. I've used other so-called heat proof paints on exhaust pipes, but none have shown the longevity and resilience of this product. Very highly recommended.Read full review

Nice Product Easy t6o Use
Although only a very small tin it was enough for a single coat to paint a complete wood burner stove and flue. Have not tried it under heated fire lit conditions sop can't comment on durability.

Great product
It worked wonders on our brass framed fireplace and now looks good as new!
The pot is tiny but if used correctly one coat should do the trick.

Good quality Paint
This is a very small tin (125ml) but goes a long way.
I used it on a small stove but still had half the tin left so will do for another coat later on.

Worth the money
It's a small tin I bought for £10.50. I cleaned my fire area and applied the black paint with a brush. There is a strong odour so had to wear a mask. I painted the surrounding area and black tiles . I had more left so I painted my fire guard too. It go along way. I haven't lit my fire so wont know if it cracks
But well impressed how far it went. Here are some photos.Read full review
