This is an excellent quality product, it nourishes wood and conditions it, and improves its appearance, and replaces natural oils, that are lost when the wood wears,I have used it on my hardwood wooden flooring that had faded, and it looks like new again, I am very pleased and impressed by it, and would highly recommend it,ifound no negatives. External timber in an open airy position now has black mould after 6 months.
This is wonderfully easy and clean to apply and we gave our new untreated garden seat 3 coats as per instructions. The timber which was American redwood pine took on a very nice honey colour.
However after 6 months the timber first became very pale and now black mould has started to appear all over, which is a great disappointment.
Sorry but from my experience I cannot recommend this product for exterior timber.
