Good but not quite there
It does what it says on the can as it were! Well made but a bit difficult to program. I couldn't find a way to set a 7 day timer where you had the same on/off for each day. Nor it appears is the ability to split the week as a working week ie. 5 days and 2 days. You seem to have to enter a program for each day and now obvious way to copy to the next day.
Temperature settings a similar tortuous entry method. However for the price it is really good value and appears very well made. It forgets the time if unplugged but not the program. In a nutshell the programming is non-intuitive and not very sophisticated but I would buy another one if I needed one.Read full review

This product has the most unfathomable programming I've ever seen. It is totally unusable. The instructions are terrible.
The eight pre-programmed "programmes" cannot be changed. No information as to how to disable them. Programmes have to be set for EACH INDIVIDUAL DAY! No option to have one programme for ALL DAYS.Read full review

Accurate and Effective
I bought this to replace an earlier plugin thermostat/timer to use with an oil-filled electric radiator in my conservatory. Unlike such devices or the thermostat mounted directly on the heater, this remotely mounted thermostat measures only air temperature and is unaffected by heat from the flowing electrical current or that conducted or directly radiated from the heater itself. As a result it is far more efficient. The thermostat is very accurate and easy to programme once you realize that the unusual graphic is just representation of a mechanical time-switch dial. It has a range of pre-set on-off times, or you can create your own additional programmes. It only offers 2 setting temperatures (pre-set to 15 and 21 but easily changed) and is only programmable in 1 hour blocks. However, in practice these are ample to ensure that the room can be comfortable when likely to be occupied and kept at a tolerable minimum temperature at other times. In any case, it is easy to temporarily override a setting until the next programmed event or to re-programme these temperatures.

They work fine but the programming could be improved and simplified, it was not obvious on a couple of items and the time slots are in whole hours, no 30 minute options. Also, the second you take the batteries out it loses the date & time setting, strange as it remembers everything else.Read full review

Accurate and Versatile Thermostat/Timeclock. Programing Challenging!! Buy it Anyway!
I was delighted to come across these thermostats. The ability to accurately control the temperature in a room with electric heating and a plug in device is something I have wanted to do for some time. The controls fitted to many heaters are crude and being in the heater itself are often quite inaccurate.
On opening the box these feel and look like a good quality product. The thermostat has a seven day timer and each day is split down into 24, one hour segments. Each segment can be set to Comfort or Economy (usually in blocks). These settings are saved in a daily program. You can only select one program per day but different days can share a program. There are 15 program slots. 7 preset and the rest are user defined
The temperature for either Comfort or Economy can be set to any temperature, however that temperature setting cannot be varied across the programs. If you choose 21c as your comfort setting then whenever your program calls for comfort it will be 21c. Likewise the economy setting. There is no OFF setting which threw me at first. You just have to decide what the lowest temperature you want is and use that for your Economy setting. As long as the temperature remains above this it will be off.
I have found them to be accurate; keeping a room to within a couple of degrees. The accuracy is really determined by where the thermostat is sited as a room will not heat or cool evenly.
Downside? The programming interface is possibly one of the most opaque I've encountered. There is a little instruction manual but individual sections are not 'joined up' and the overall method is not made clear. At one point I nearly gave up but having bought three I persevered for a considerable time and suddenly there was a Eureka moment and the method suddenly clicked with me. ( I also have a Hive system which is a doddle compared to this!)
Overall a really useful and unique device at a good price. Just don't expect to program them in an instant!Read full review

Poor instructions
The instructions are very small. The receiver and transmitter need to match before programming and the instructions seem in the wrong order regarding address matching and communication. Didn't even get to the programming side. Far to time consuming.Read full review
